Based on Taito’s classic shooting series of the 80s, Darius Burst: Another Chronicle has been beautifully modernised to take the series to a whole new level whilst igniting nostalgia for old fans of the series.

Part of the appeal of the new installment is the horizontal scrolling nature of the game’s double wide screen, completely unique in the arcade market, created using two 32” LCD screens and angled mirrors.

The new game introduces various new elements to the series, including 4-player cooperative play, a new power up system and even a story mode, pitting players against various aquamarine-looking bosses.
